The graphics are nice, especially the RT lighting and reflections. Performance was very solid too. There are some slightly odd inconsistencies to the graphics sometimes though. The music was ok in a generic rock music kinda way, Mick Gordon's absence is felt though.
There is an attempt to make DOOM into a cinematic action movie experience here, with some interesting mech and dragon flying sections. It was fun, but also kinda ovely simple and perhaps unecessary.
The game is expensive, too expensive IMO. There is an OK amount of content, but not to the degree that justifies the price. Can't fault CDKeys for the reduced price though.
So, like I wrote earlier, DOOM The Dark Ages is a really good game, great in some ways, but has some questionable design choices and is far from peak DOOM IMO.
